Counselling: Dublin City Centre

counselling dublinMy name is Declan Gernon. I’m a fully qualified counsellor and  psychotherapist, offering counselling in Dublin city centre. I provide a respectful, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can discuss whatever issues are affecting you, especially those issues preventing you  getting the most out of  life.

I work as integrative counsellor drawing on the humanistic and psychodynamic traditions.  In providing you with support to explore any difficulties you are experiencing, you can increase your self-awareness and  gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships with others. By understanding more about yourself and how you relate to others, you can develop a different way of coping with painful situations and feelings.

Counselling Services

I work with a range of issues. I provide short-term counselling to those needing support as they go through a difficult event in their lives.  For those seeking to gain a deeper insight into themselves I offer longer-term psychotherapy. These issues include – but are not limited to – depression, anxiety, anger management issues, bereavement, and addiction.  In addition, I work with issues related to relationships and sexuality.
