Counselling: Dublin City Centre
My name is Declan Gernon, counsellor and psychotherapist. I am a fully accredited member of the IACP. I offer counselling in two locations in Dublin city centre. I provide a respectful, non-judgmental space for you to discuss whatever issues are affecting you. Especially those issues preventing you from getting the most out of life.
I trained as an integrative counsellor, drawing on the humanistic and psychodynamic traditions. I provide you with support in exploring your difficulties. Increasing your self-awareness you gain a deeper understanding of both yourself and your relationships with others. By doing so you can learn to relate differently, developing a healthier way of coping with painful situations and feelings.
Counselling Services
I provide short-term counselling to anyone needing support as they experience some difficult life event. For those seeking deeper insight I offer longer-term psychotherapy.
I work with a range of issues. These include – but are not limited to – depression, anxiety, anger management issues, bereavement, and low self-esteem. I also work with issues regarding relationships and sexuality. See my full list of services here here.
